TKV Desikachar passed on at age 78 August 8th. In a world where we all post nice yoga pictures everyday great guru's pass way unnoticed.
TKV Desikachar is the son and student of T. Krishnamacharya the man known as “the father of modern yoga,” who was also the teacher of another well-known yogi, BKS Iyengar.
Your father would be very proud of what you accomplished in keeping with a more traditional healing perception of yoga. I hope all yoga teachers found this gem.
