Where Is The Levator Scapulae?
These muscles begin on the sides of your upper neck and travel down to the shoulderblade on the upper inner corner.
Levator Scapulae Tear and strain symptoms
This muscle helps lift the shoulder. When it is tight on one side you can see the shoulder raised (and even rotated) compared to the other one.
Pain will often radiate down the shoulderblade on the inside and even effect the rhomboids causing a secondary tightness.
